Request for proof of
their licenses. Considering that you're going to invest time and

standards to guarantee high-quality output.
Request for as much
detail in the quotation as possible. The last thing you want is
to be surprised by how much the project amounts to in total. Identify
those hidden costs from the onset to get a more accurate figure of
what you're going to be charged with.
Establish the time
frame of the project. This will not only help you manage your
budget and expectations, but let you make allowances for any
unforeseen delays.
Put them down in black
and white. Throughout the duration of your pool building project,
you'll most likely be involved in one too many discussions with your
builder. Document your agreed changes, negotiations, promises,
claims, warranties, and the like to make it clear for both parties
what they can expect and what they're supposed to deliver.
